Bob grew up on a large farm in South Texas and hailed from a family of cattle brokers operating at the San Antonio Stockyards. Wide open spaces and campfires, throw in some fishing and historical sites and Bob is one happy fellow. Bob served in the U.S. Navy and also experienced corporate moves with Polaroid, Kimberly Clark and Dow Chemical. Bob has a B.B.A. from Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State in San Marcos, TX). He left a career in corporate marketing and management, started his own landscaping business for several years until circling back to his family’s historical roots in Virginia. Bob’s family tree stems from Jamestown, his ancestor came over on the Susan B Constant ship from England and it was exciting for him to see the name on the ship’s manifest at the historic settlement.
Tricia has moved too many times to count. Yes, she’s a military brat and proud of it! After a career as a dental hygienist she carried her communications skills to real estate. Having uprooted so frequently, she has a deep empathy for military and corporate family moves and the need for family to connect quickly in new surroundings. Virginia offers what she loves, mountains, the ocean and plenty of places to hike and explore. The beautiful vineyards in Virginia and wineries are wonderful places to experience, bring a picnic basket or enjoy the fare provided by so many of the tasting rooms. Given anywhere to live, they chose Charlottesville and would do it again!

Tricia is the best!! We found out we had to move down to Charlottesville over a year before we were ready to buy. She was put up with us for that long, and she emailed us new house listings the entire time. When the time came to buy a house Tricia and Bob (her partner in crime) were so wonderful. Took us through all the houses, helped us with what we needed to look for (since we didn’t know much). When we decided on a house to buy, the owners had no Real Estate Agent, and they really went above and beyond helping the current owner and us through the whole process. We did what would be considered ridiculous 10 years ago-- bought a house without actually visiting it in person, and Tricia and Bob helped make that happen!!! Let me explain....We are retired military/ Dept of Defense civilians who lived in Europe and Asia for the last 13 years, and it finally became time for us to return to CONUS (continental US for you non-DoD types). Our timeline did not enable us to make a house hunting trip to C'ville before our move date. So we did extensive research on Zillow, and the county website, and contacted Tricia and Bob. They lept at the challenge. We had a list, and Tricia would visit the houses we were considering in the Morning (evening in Germany) using FaceTime to show us virtually what was right and wrong about the various houses we were considering. We finally chose the one that best met our needs, and are very happy with the results. She referred us to a great inspector who found things that needed to get done which gave us more confidence, and the closing date, which relied on Powers of Attorney, went smoothly. This was a unique and challenging house purchase and move, and while seeing the houses in person is the ideal, it just couldn't happen in our case. Two things enabled us to do this with confidence -- modern technology (internet and FaceTime) and a professional, committed real estate agent who gave us honest assessments, showed ultimate flexibility, and was there every step of the way.

Tricia was proactive in getting to know us and our needs/priorities, energetic about finding new properties to look at, and very patient with us as we made changes to our list of wants and needs. She has impressive knowledge of the Charlottesville area and was very honest with us about the pros and cons of each neighborhood and house that we looked at. At no point did I worry that she was putting a commission over our happiness and satisfaction.
